I'm looking to install an OME setup on my 1996 extended cab Tacoma. Now i've read an insane amount of posts/threads on the OME setup and it seems as if just about everyone goes with something other than the 880's. My goal is to upgrade the stock suspension with a high quality setup like OME (w/nitrocharger shocks) without giving the truck too much lift. I do not plan on putting an aftermarket front bumper on it and want to keep truck looking mostly stock as much as possible. If anyone has a similar 880 set up, I'd love to hear from you with regards to ride quality, actual results of lift after settling in, etc. Thanks.

supposedly the 880's will give you 1.25-1.5" of lift. Now that's over stock or factory, not worn out suspension. You would still see a 2" raise from where you're stock is now.

I have 881s on a double cab with v6 so 880s on a xtra cab 4 banger may look similar to mine.

I have 880s with nitrochargers all around on my 96 regular cab 4cyl. It had 2" spacers and rear blocks when I bought it. The blocks are still on the rear. It rides MUCH better now and about the same height as it was with the 2" spacers. 2016-08-14 141550-3343826.jpg

I installed 881's in my 01 extended cab, 2.7l, with no aftermarket bumpers. Rides rough, wish I would've gone with the 800's.
