I have a 98 base model w/ AT. This weekend I swapped out the original wiper stalk for one with intermittent. When I put the 2 halves back over the steering column, I pinched that little plastic strip that rides with the column shifter. When I put it in gear I shredded that flexible strip.(it was pretty cold out & the plastic is 19 years old) I can't find a replacement online because I don"t know what to call it. I've used variations on "98 tacoma column shifter cover slider". Any help is greatly appreciated. Last resort, I'll go to a dealership. Thanx, Dave

Thanx, Indy. Worked out to be part # 35975 04010EO (Tan). $35 for that simple piece of plastic. I'll be much more careful reinstalling this time. Thanx again, Dave
