What's going on TW just wanted to introduce myself. I'm mikey from the Boston area. Used to drive a modded subie and finally made the much needed transition into the pickup world, with a 2017 magnetic gray 4 door short bed TRD sport. I'm currently a FF & carpenter. Also did a handful of years in the army as an infantryman with a year deployment to Afghan. About to invest in the diamondback SE bed cover. Was curious if anyone could give me some ideas for a nice set of tires on stock wheels that are good for winter and dirt but also not to bad or loud on pavement. Also any advice about leveling kits! Pros and con? Also new to this forum stuff so take it easy on me until I get the hang of it

Thanks for the advice. I'm new to the whole lifting thing, so I don't have much knowledge towards the subject.

First and foremost thanks for the service. We have a future son-in-law at Ft. Campbell.
Our first set of duelers were really slick, but surely they've gotten that taken care of. We like the BFG All Terrain KO2's so possibly comparing those as well????
Our favorite leveling kit for a Taco is Revtec. http://puretacoma.com/?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=201

    Congrats and welcome Mikey!!!!

Welcome home. Thanks for service, and go Patriots, right...

Bro there is so many routes you can take. At this point just search threads and have patience when reading. You will soon learn who knows what they are actually talking about vs. those who have no idea and just want to hear and see their opinion. Also, there is more than 1 thread on each topic, so change up your verbiage when searching.... lifts, spacers, wheel spacers, levels, tires, lift kit, leveling kit, blah blah blah...

Before you lift and or level, just figure out what you want from your truck. Spend hours and hours on here reading and learning buddy. I've had both a lift kit and a level on my trucks. Each has their perks, once again...what will you use it for.... If you want to save some cheddar and fit bigger wheels and tires in the interim and just go for the "look" then level it. fugit.

I've ran a few tires on my trucks. I currently run a BFG K02 285/70/17 and I love it, sidewall is a fkn beast on it. I too have ran a bridgestone dueler a/t revo 2, it was nice as well.

Then you have your Coopers and Toyo's. Man there is just so soooo so much bro, research, have patience, and make sure you enjoy what you are learning! Godspeed Bro.
