Not a motor mount. Squeaks when not running just by rocking the truck. Does sound similar to what a loose or rubbing spare would but def up front. If you ever heard a car with dried up control arm bushings like an old 70's car then that is the exact sound. Resembles a car that just drove away from an accident. It's that bad. My money is on either a suspension bushing or possibly a body bushing. I cannot wait to show the dealer. I will know immediately if they have seen this before by their reaction. Good thing I held off my level kit. Then they could blame an alteration. Drives and steers fine.

For good or bad it has not squeaked for 2 days. It has been very cool temps here. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I just had mine spend the day at the dealer. It went in for a squeak in the suspension. At the end of the day they are replacing the rear leaf springs

On top of that, non related, had also reported an issue with the rear diff not locking. (TRD OR). Verdict= replacement of the Diff lock switch!

They also checked the Trans fluid and ujoints and all was well!

Same. Sometimes I can get it to clunk. It's going in soon.

I had problems with similar noise don't know if it's the same thing as everyone else is having but I noticed that my step bar tubes towards the front was rubbing against the frame and every time I'd hit a bump it would sqeak on both sides. So I sprayed some liquid wrench where it was rubbing n it hasn't done it since. May not be the problem everyone else is having but figured I'd put it out there just in case!

Wish mine was that easy. I haven't done anything to it yet. It's completely stock other than my dipped badges.

I've been to two different dealers with no resolution on my squeaky front suspension. The first service Mgr said it was my hood prop not properly seated which was the most ridiculous thing I have ever been told. Funny thing is that they did something to make the noise go away completely for about a week. Of course it is back but more intermittent and the noise was not there today when I went to another dealer. Please continue to post anything that resolves this and I will do the same.

For what its worth mine stopped squeaking after annoying me for a few days. I am thinking one of the sealed bushings finally spread some lube. I have done nothing to it. It was absolutely around the passenger upper control arm. Time will tell if its actually fixed itself. And FYI my spare was tight and not rubbing anything and the noise was in the front suspension.

I think mine is solved for now anyway. There is a thin metal support that runs parallel to radiator between grill and radiator. I could reproduce the noise by giving it a strong upward tug. I repeated this several times trying to pinpoint the exact source. I felt a slight shift and the noise stopped. Apparently I cleared a metal to metal interference associated with the support. The constant squaking at slow speeds has been gone for 2 weeks now. Possibly this may help someone èlse if the previously listed causes don't.

My apology for not responding sooner, I must have missed the notification. My problem is apparently solved, but I did end up having to pinpoint a metal to metal contact point where this bar connects to another part of the frame and spray it with some remington gun lubricant. At least I found and solved something two different dealerships could not. Here is a picture. I will try to clarify further if I can. BTW, the noise I had sounded exactly like the video in this thread. 20170131_200443.jpg

Bad body mount at the radiator crossmember seems to be a popular cause for this.

    all tore up already
Didnt read whole thread. My right front also squeaks but i havent gotten around to fixing it. I highly suspect radiator bushing is the issue on my truck. Happens on one long sweeping off camber corner near my house and is annoying but hasnt bugged me to address it yet

My leaf springs need constant dealer attention. They are looking into replacing the whole leaf pack.

Do yourself a favor and take video/audio before taking to dealer. They could not duplicate the noise on my 1st visit. Then I made a video and showed the dealer. They still could not repeat the noise. Sent video to corporate after I opened a case. They told the dealer what was wrong and the dealer fixed it. Corporate knows about all of our issues. The dealers do not. That video got my body bushing replaced. Turns out the entire line made with my truck had mis-located bushings from a robotic program error.

    Update:
Went to the dealership for 10k oil change. Told them what was going on. The tech told me this a really big problem and also common. He told me there is a remedy tip which Toyota told them will fix the issue. So they spray just water and high pressure air in between the leaf rear springs to get the dirt build up out of there. I can tell you they heard my squeak from a mile away. Now I have absolutely no squeak after the fix. We will see how long that last. I'm going off roading tomorrow on Elgin.
