Any suggestions for removable roof rack for a 2017 TRD Sport Dble Cab. I would be transporting a paddle board only for a few miles to the bay. I'm thinking Thule or Rhino. I want to be able to remove them when not in use. Don't want TracRac bed type just the kind that go on the naked roof.

Any owners out there with said type racks and pics. Here is a picture of my truck.1.jpg

For something as light as a paddleboard I'd get the OEM rack. The cross bars fold into the rack frame when not in use.

You'll quickly find that removing/reinstalling any kind of rack is a pain in the ass that you don't want to deal with. OEM's "folding" ability is the closest thing you'll get IMO.

I'm trying to avoid the OEM rack I don't like the plastic look on the roof. I would probably keep the removable rack on for the summer then remove it during the winter.

    Thx for the reply.
