Whats up guys, I have a 2016 Ext Cab White Tacoma 4cyl her name is Tina the Taco, i just created a profile today in particularly because i am looking to give Tina a little 3inch face lift, i already have a 2.5in leveling spacer (not installed) heard they weren't to awesome on the truck and may add a little more stress on the front end components. i dont wheel or do any serious offroading, just alot of outdoor stuff and want some ground clearance without spending unneeded money on suspension. i know i can adjust some with the 5100s maybe a block or add a leaf in the rear but i really want a leveled out truck.

Like others have mentioned, Headstrong will get you setup. I ran the coil spacer for a month or two. If you do the work yourself, it's relatively inexpensive. If you're having it done, do it right the first time. You can always install the coil space yourself and save up some money for a decent setup. Just an idea.

Maybe im dumb but im getting confused here with the 5100 adjustable shocks that go up to 2.5in, if i buy coils along with it depending on the size (looking at OME 2887) do they add inches as well?

The coils (OME 2887) add about 2 inches. The shocks work with the coil springs to dampen the abrupt motion. Because the springs carry the weight of your vehicle the lift height may vary depending on your setup. Since with the new coils you will gain added height, your up and down wheel travel will increase. Because of this you need longer shocks to work in conjunction with your coils.

This isn't a perfect explanation of how it all works, but it is the simplest way I can think to explain it. Hope this helps and is what you are looking for....
