Some of my personal photos of my amber Gravity G4s at normal and darkened exposures. Note that these are in a @Pelfreybilt bumper, which has a slender opening that is actually smaller than these fogs are meaning much of the pattern is cut off. Those photos are also taken from about 8 feet away during the day time and are meant more to show the color. That said, if anyone would like, I can pull 'em out and take some photos from further away at night time to show patterns better.

Ordered me an amber set and looking forward to getting them. Was really debating between Morimoto and the Lexus OEM LED LED fogs. Going to give these a chance as they were about the same price as the Lexus ones. I wanted that yellow/amber look without doing the lamin x wrap.

I'm just going off what the description of the fog light is above and on their website. I have not heard of it either and would agree these are a darker color than yellow. Guess I will tell when I personally get them installed.

thanx. i'm going with the cheaper Yellow film covering over my factorys. also installing some leds peeking outta grill & also covering them with yellow film. I Think it should look sharp. my leds came with thicker wires than my parking light wires that I am gonna splice into which are very fine. think I should be ok voltage-wise???

Yes, I should have time tonight. I will pull them out of my bumper as it blocks some of the beam, and post up when I can!

Good idea to have him do it....
(I'm color "deficient" as they say)

Here are the photos/videos from what I got last night with my Amber LED G4 fog lights. You can see that I was exactly 25 feet from this wall. Although it wasn't completely dark in this parking lot, it was close enough. I have photos from both inside the cab, and from on the roof of the truck to get a wider view. The videos also may help. This is the best I could get as it started to rain on me while I was out there and still had to reinstall everything and clean up while in the rain!

For the two photos below, I adjusted one fog light to be high up onto the wall than it would really be in reality, but this was just to show you what the beam pattern looks like from 25 ft.

Here are two photos. One video shows the full beam width with each light set to different heights for ease of viewing width only. The other beam gives a better idea of distances. In the distance video, the beam appears at maybe 10-12 feet. The median/curb/island is about 25 feet. The building is maybe 150-200 feet away

Here is a great guide on how to install these lights in an ARB bumper and it is very simple if you have a dremel or a similar sort of tool. I found this originally at the link below and have basically copied and pasted all of this... it is not mine.

    http://www.northernoverland.com/arb-fog-light-replacement/

    ARB Fog Light Replacement
This guide explains how we installed the KC Hilites Gravity 4″ fog lights into our ARB bumper. This should work with all ARB bumpers that have the triangular plastic light housings. We are impressed with the light output and color of these LEDs and its nice KC gives the option for an amber kit as well. This install method will require you to already have the ARB fog light kit since we will be using the housing from the ARB lights. You can also mount them by epoxying some pins on the side of the lights, this was out original plan but found this alternate method which was much easier.

    Step 1

Remove both fog lights from the bumper. You can do this by unplugging the wires, removing the adjustment screw and spring, and pop the lights pins out of the mount. Once removed unscrew the two small screws that are located behind the mounting pins and separate the housing from the light.
    Step 1.jpg

    Step 2

Next prep the KC fog lights by removing the mounting bracket and trim the two metal tabs from the rear of the light.
    Step 2.jpg

    Step 3

Next use a dremel or box knife to cut open the rear of the ARB light housing. We started with a circle then adjusted the dimensions so the back of the KC light fit through. You will also note that you will need to cut a bit of excess around where the KC lights original mounting holes are located. Trim until the light fits flush inside the front lip of the housing.
    step 3a.jpg step 3b.jpg step 3c.jpg

    Step 4

Next I drilled a hole in the bottom of the housing to allow water to drain if needed.
    step 4.jpg

    Step 5

There are two way you can do the next step. I used epoxy to glue the light to the housing but if you want to be able to remove the light and reuse the housing I recommend carefully cutting the back of the housing so the original KC mounting screws will hold the light back against the housing. It could be done and will allow the housing to be reused if a light happens to break. If you decide to use epoxy, lay a light bead around the back of the lip on the light. Then place the light into the housing making sure the light is level in the housing and the tabs for the light adjustment are at the top of the light.
    step 5a.jpg step 5b.jpg

    Step 6

Once the light has cured you are all set to reinstall the light back into the housing on the bumper. Install the adjustment screw and spring, and connect the wiring as required. If you are replacing previously installed ARB fog lights and they were installed according to ARB’s instructions, then the white wire is positive and connects to the red lead on the KC lights.
    step 6.jpg

I'm keeping an eye on these fog lights. Currently have lamin-x amber film on my fogs but the corners are coming apart after just one week. I'm also considering baja designs fogs, but these are a bit cheaper.

    A thing or two...
I've got a set of clear set of the universal fog lights that I'll be installing in a Demello bumper. The M8 bolts that the lights come with don't fit the mounting brackets on the bumper. Supposedly, a 1/4-20 will work in the bumper bracket, but from my measurements, it would most likely scrape out the powder coat going in. An M6 fit but was tighter than I liked in the bumper bracket slots, so I'm waiting for some #12 hardware to come in. The light brackets are different than what is shown in the OP and have an additional set of holes to allow for height adjustment of the lights. The lights were too tall on the upper hole, so I moved them to the lower hole. They are now a hair short, so I will be shimming them to center them in the bumper opening. Once I get farther along with this project, I'll post up some pictures.
