Alright folks bear with me. I purchased my Tacoma back in January 2016 and thanks to a scuff on the front bumper due to a fence that jumped out in front of me I decided to just go all out and build it. I looked for a few months for a Tacoma and I settled on a 2012 SR5 with a tow package. The guy selling it really needed to get out of it and I am Dutch so I really needed to get a good deal. In fact everything I've put on my truck has been a good deal; between group buys, black Friday, craigslist and Tacoma World members I didn't pay full price for anything. I'm not cheap, I'm frugal dammit.

The truck when I bought it was covered with plasti-dip and I have learned to hate the God forsaken substance. It also hadn't been detailed ever in it's poor life. So much grime....shutters in disgust.

    Build as it sits:

    Suspension

    - OME Front with 886 Coils
    - OME Rear with Dakar Leaf-springs

    Armor
    - SOS Front Steel Bumper
    - SOS Rear Bumper.... wish I got the tire carrier
    - RCI bolt on Sliders
    - RCI Front Skid Plate
    - RCI Transmission Skid Plate
    - RCI Transfer Case Plate

    Tires/Wheels
    - Pro Comp 84 Series Vapor 17" 17x9
    - Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 265/70-17

    Interior
    - Wet Okole seat covers front and rear
    - Weathertech floor mats

    Misc.
-Truxedo Low Pro QT tonneau cover
    - OEM Bed extender " had to modify the mount in order to accommodate the cover"
    - X-metal grille "need to paint the grill surround and order letters"

    ^It was so damn dirty!

So I experimented with some 2016 wheels and tires, bought them cheap, drove on them for a couple months and may have sold them for a bit more to a coworker....

First mod I did myself. Took a couple 5.56 ammo cans and mounted them with the tonneau cover mounts that were still on the truck. They worked well but don't with the cover I put on, so now they sit in the garage...sad day.

I picked up a free hood with a scoop from a guy on Craigslist, we swapped straight across. For the win.

My pro comp wheels with Duratrac tires rubbed pretty bad before I put the lift on.

I purchased all my armor over the course of 4 months and waited to put it all on until I had leave to put the lift on. It was a busy couple days getting it all on.

Armor is all installed. I don't have a picture of the bottom skids yet... But thank God they are there or the ice flows would have taken a chunk of my truck as a souvenir.
