Cool, thanks. I'm sure they are nice but every picture, even on Cali Raised / Apex's sites, are from "too far" away to really get an appreciation of the detail. For example, one of your pics makes it look like the driver's side mount is bent up against the "ridges" of the plastic bumper and is actually gapped out a little. Might just be angle of the dangle though...

Here is a link to a post I just made in the Cali Raised thread as they own this design now. I can tell you that they are spaced a little off the fins simply due to the form factor of the bumper. We worked really hard to add the small contours and shapes of the bumper but ultimately there are some limitations due to the Toyota design as mentioned. They are a good fit and so far all three testers have complimented the way they fit in the factory bumper. @MeefZah

    SWAPPED!

Stock TRD Pro Rigid LEDs... out!

New and significantly improved Chris / Apex brackets and CaliRaised LEDs installed!

The new setup is much, much better. Those Rigids just weren't going to cut it.

I shot a good 100+ pictures along the way, and I will share some here.

We tried the 20w 2x2 pods and the 18w 2x3 pods. The 20w 2x2s won. They provide a much deeper spot, which we need for our runs.

Chris - again, a sincere thank you for the great communication and fantastic product.

    Jim

    Funny. Love that.

I have pics I have to thread together a bit. Just need some time!

    Rigid vs. 18w vs. 20w.

    Stay tuned!

So @Teknicl just curious how bright are those Rigid Fogs that come on the TRD Pro's. I'm guessing not that bright since you switched them out and do you got any shots of them OEM Rigid lights at night?

The rigid LEDs look to be an excellent fog light. The others look like driving lights to me and would not function well at all as a fog light. I want to have true fog lights as we get snow and fog here and the other lights will just blind you from the reflection. Does Cali plan on making a fog light with a cutoff like the rigid?

Probably not since getting DOT legal lights is hella expensive

That too bad, would love a true LED fog light don't care about them being DOT. I will be mounting my driving lights higher as I still want fog lights.

The 3x2 pods will be more of a fog than the 2x2 pods as the 3x2 aren't as focused a beam, but I believe these were designed for the purpose of additional offroad lighting as the primary driver.

I know this has been covered somewhere, I just can't seem to find where, but do the fog bezels just pull out from the front or do you need to remove part of the front end to get access to, what I assume, are just clips holding them on?

Thanks for the write-up and pics btw.

You can slightly pry them away and work a finger in from the front, and they pop straight out.
