lambs wool vs micro fiber washing mitts

    none as of yet
    any thoughts on one vs the other. my cheap pep boys micro fiber leaves lint on raised surfaces such as tonnuea cover. bought a lambs wool mitt. your thoughts?

    I've had both. I would stick with microfiber. Lambs wool is nice but the mitt will begin to dry out & harden over time. Microfiber mitts last much longer. Try a higher quality microfiber mitt next time. I've had no issues with my last two mitts. One was from Griot's & the other was from Carrand.

    Yep, this. I bought an expensive lamb's wool mit from autogeek and it only lasted a few months with weekly washings. The mit hardened and the wool started falling off. When it was new, I was impressed by how much water it would hold but that's about all it had going for it. Now I stick to much cheaper micro fiber options and have no regrets.

    i like microfiber. its cheap and it works. i can wash them in the dryer, and they are still good to use. i can buy a 4 pack at the dollar store, but it does leave lint but not a lot
    lambs wool is probably good too just more expensive, id rather have a bulk of microfiber towels than a lamb wool mitt.

    I have cheap wash mits (the dread lock kind) from Home Depo. Mine don't leave lint. $4 a pop.

    I actually prefer foam. Lake Country's foam wash wedge. Traps dirt in the channels, dirt releases easy on grit guard. Made from the same foam that their wax applicator pads are so are extremely safe from inducing micro swirls and doesn't leave lint. Its like 12 bucks..

    I like Adams wash pads and merino wash mits. Both have held up well. Wash pad works good for bugs etc. Mit is better for the rest.
