I can't tell the difference. Maybe it's the pic, but if it looks as close as I think it does, I'm not sure I'd notice it in person.

I surprise myself sometimes with the things that come out of my head. Lol.

It's not horrible. My grandfather was a painter, my dad is a painter, and they both taught me a lot about it, so it's just one of those things that catches my eye.

I'd like to try to go and from what I've heard they have trails that are stock friendly so beginners like us should be ok

If I make it, I'm going to stick to the kind of mild side of things myself. Mainly because I'm still making payments on this thing. The other reason is I've worked on enough stuff stuck in the middle of the woods. I prefer to just go cruise, hit a decent obstacle or two, and cruise some more. Kind of sightseeing with some challenges thrown in to make sure you're still paying attention. I should hopefully have at least my rear bumper and rock sliders by then. And maybe skids if I'm lucky.

I'm going to try to go. I got my front bumper last weekend and I've been working on a set of sliders I got. They are ready to go on the truck and hopefully Saturday they'll be on. Then on to skids. That'll be about it for me unless I decide on a softtopper. There's a few suspension things I'd like to do yet but nothing major.

    Sweet. Where's the pictures?!

And truth be told, I've already got the money set aside for the rear bumper, sliders, and skids. But I'm being cheap and won't pull the trigger. I don't know why, because I still haven't filed taxes (which I probably won't get much back on, because I don't let the government borrow my money), and I've got a 4 wheeler sitting in the garage that I rebuilt that a dude owes me a decent chunk of money for, which was supposed to be picked up by now. So even more cash is there, I've just been hoarding it.

I'm jealous. I've still got a long way to go until my week at the beach.

I wish I'd have known you'd wanted a rear bumper the guy I bought the front from had a steel rear he was selling fairly cheap and had it with him when I met him in Greensboro. If I'd known I could have picked it up for you or you could have ridden with me to get it. It was an SOS concepts with built in receiver already bedlined and ready for install. Front bumper is SOS aluminum.

Please don't tell me that rear bumper had a tire carrier set up. I'm saving for one of those too!

That looks sweet. I always liked the SOS stuff. That's probably what I would have gone with instead of the ARB if I could have waited a little longer. But I needed it quick, fast, and in a hurry.

I'm still up in the air on the rear bumper for mine. I know I want one, just haven't decided which one, or if I want to cut the bedsides or not. I like the Fab Fours "Premium Rear Bumper" because it looks a lot like the stock one, gives spots for shackles, and I can keep the hitch I have on the truck now.

However, I know me, and I know EVENTUALLY I'm going to try something stupid, and drop off something that's just a little too tall, and mangle the bottom of the bed.

We've been looking and are leaning toward Pelfrey for both front and rear. I like the design and they seem to have quite a following.
Whew! Thanks now im not so upset!

I finally got my lift done. I had a little problem with a broken brake line that held me up for a few days while it got sorted. I was a little nervous after I installed everything and got it back on the ground because the "bro-lean" was unbearable but after driving it around the block the front end seemed to settle down and it leveled right out.

Next up is an alignment tomorrow and new wheels as soon as I sell my Chev S10.

Truck looks great! You'll really like that lift at least I do mine. Congrats! You've probably already said but which wheels and tires are you going with?
