Better safe than sorry, obviously. In the future, I wouldn't do it again that way. But I think you'll be fine. I think one of the functions of the 601 is that it's a chemical cleaner of sorts-- seems I remember reading that at one time. I can't recall for certain.

But yeah, Uber definitely leaves something on the surface. For future reference, there are rinseless washes that leave nothing behind. I think Meguiars makes a good one. But for standard rinseless washes and versatility, Uber is hard to beat, in my opinion.

Harpolith, After being on my wife's Rav4 since September, the Duragloss 111/601 is still holding strong. I have noticed, and I don't know if it is the white paint Toyota uses, the Duragloss or the Collinite 845 that I topped it with, but this is the slickest, smoothes finish I have ever felt. I can't stop rubbing my fingers across the paint, I've never felt anything like it. Is that the Duragloss? I have Megs ULW and 845 on my silver Tacoma but it is not this smooth.

Hard to say. Is the Rav new factory paint or has it been corrected/polished? Or maybe it is clear coated paint vs single stage? I would think the colli might initially feel a little slicker than the DG on either paint. Kind of a mystery. All things considered, I'd expect the DG to hang on a little longer than the colli. But a couple sessions on salty roads throws a variable in there. I love both products and kind of alternate. I do like the 111 for gloss though. Colli seems to darken my pyrite mica.

Sorry I didn't get to responding to your PM- family health issues this week. Been a busy time.
