I have a '98 PreRunner Xtracab that came with all manual options from the factory (manual locks, manual mirrors, manual windows, etc.) and I wanted to change that.

I found a totaled '04 Limited Doublecab and I stripped both front doors of their door components, and wiring harnesses. I cut some of the wiring behind the kick panel connector so I would be able to unplug the doors if need be. It also helps since I have something to solder new wires too instead of cutting the door harness.

The window motors and mirrors are pretty straight forward, just 12v in the right places and signal cables to each door and it should theoretically work. The power lock actuators do concern me though. Most aftermarket lock actuators only come with 2 wires, yet the OEM lock actuator assemblies comes with 7 wires.

How hard would it be to wire the lock actuators to work with say a Viper keyless entry be? The Viper remote start/keyless entry system would be basically the only computer module connected to the door system.
