What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I have had these tires for a few months, same size. They are quiet on the road and have been great in the clay mud where I hunt. I still average 21 mpg - mostly highway on my commute. I am very happy with them. They also look much more aggressive in person.

Haha I haven't really thought too much. Like I said, I was bored. But I like that so maybe!

 

In my opinion, carfax is a waste of time and money. I know that some insurance companies and most body shops do not report to carfax. Thus making carfax not 100 percent accurate.

Ive been in 2 accidents and I know for a fact that none of those appeared on carfax. One was a 2016 tacoma that I traded in after an accident. Waited 4 months to trade in after the accident, and still the carfax report came back clean as a whistle.

What dealership did you go to? ...They actually charged you for a carfax report? Should have been free.

265/75r16 I've fit 285s under there before on my 15 and 11.

 

If you are keeping the stock wheel size then there isn't much point in lifting it as you won't be raising you diff any higher. They will drag in the snow/mud/whatever just the same as they do now. I'd say keep it stock and buy a shovel.

Now if you deep down want to lift your truck for looks then disregard what I said above and start doing searches on here regarding lifts and start researching.

The wheels are a little old school for some people's taste, but I like em.

No lift yet. Has a very slight rub when going over a hump at full lock. I have some bilstein 5100s and a aal waiting to go on.
