@KB Voodoo Can I mount two bikes underneath the tall rack? I want to haul two kayaks up top and two 27.5" mountain bikes in the bed. If anything what is the height from the bed to the bottom edge of the top rail?

The bottom of the upper crossbars are about 16" above the top of the bed side rails.

Has anyone mounted a rack to the top of one of these? I was thinking about doing a Prinsu rack over the cab and over the rack as well. just to even out the height of an overly long roof top tent.

You can bolt pretty much anything to the top of these babies.

Would the higher voodoo rack, with a prinsu rack on it be the same height as the prinsu rack on the cab?

Not without a small spacer between the Voodoo rack and the Prinsu rack.

Makes sense.. That shouldn't infect integrity, so wouldn't be bad at all. Do you deliver out to APO addresses?

We love APO addresses, and we take care of our boys in the service. PM me when you're ready for a rack.

When using the extender, does the factory tri- fold tonneau cover need to lift a bit for the extender to flip into the bed? Looks like the new bed rack mount bracket doesn't have much clearance for the cover to lift? Or do you remove the extender and re insert with it flipped into the bed? Hope that's clear enough.
I'd like to purchase a mid height rack for my fishing rods and bike gear, but also have the hard factory trifold cover. Not sure how much of the cover is still usable, unless the rack rails were shorter, allowing the last folding portion to go 90 degrees? If it doesn't work, I'll just pull the cover when the rack is on.

The factory cover can't be opened at all with the rack in place.

To flip the extender in, I just take it out and put it back in.

Is it just as sturdy without the side plates?

It wouldn't be quite as sturdy without the side plates.

    Installed mine yesterday.
I'm very happy with the rack. The quality is awesome, was packaged really well, and was very easy to assemble.

I'll be buying more KB Voodoo product in the future. IMG_4439.jpg IMG_9867.jpg IMG_5231.jpg

That looks great with the rotopax on it. I am curious as to how many and what size I can fit down the side of the tall rack.

    Hey Chad,

I just joined as a new member, I stumbled upon this thread yesterday as I was looking around the internet for cool bed racks and I instantly fell in love with yours, I read the whole thread starting from page 1.
Needless to say I placed an order for a short bed mid high rack with the tonneau attachment brackets, I'm super excited and cant wait, I noticed you mentioned that it might take a few weeks to receive them though due to the high demand, I was wondering if it's not too much trouble to ask what the lead time is at the moment?
Thanks for your time, I look forward to your response!

    Thanks for your order!!

Right now it's looking like the beginning of March for delivery.

Going forward, KB Voodoo has recently made some business improvements that will allow us to carry an unbelievable inventory. By spring, there will be no lead time for any of our products. People will have their parts a couple days after order placement 100% of the time.

We are also making a big expansion to our parts storage capability in the next couple weeks, in order to help us grow and grow and grow.

This is quickly expanding from a hobby, to a sustainable, full time operation.

Also stay tuned for more new products. I just designed something the other night that I think most people are going to want!!

Don't know if it will be as fast for the mid rack (I got the full rack).. but mine got here in less than 10 days.. and thats all the way to Germany. I just put it together on the living room floor to check everything and it is solid as can be. I will be installing on the truck tomorrow morning and I will post pictures!
