FYI 3rd gen LCA's are different, they use a bigger rear bolt.

 

You're certain of this? I was pretty sure it looked like my 2010s but I also haven't done too much research. Bigger as in longer or fatter?

Im not sure if it means much but i just installed a Lt kit that was built for 05-17 Tacoma and used the stock bolt that he is referring to and had no issues. If the bolt was different for 3rd gen wouldnt that limit the the Lt Kit to either 3rd gen only or 05 to 15? From all my research, all the suspension components are the same except for the preload on the 3rd gen springs and the shock type depending on what package you get (trd sport/ trd off road/sr5)

you might be able to use the smaller bolt style on the 3rd gens but not the other way around. The 3rd gens 100% use a different rear LCA cam bolt. its bigger, same style as the dual vvti 4 runners / fj

Thanks for the heads up man. I definitely dont intend to sell someone something they cant use. I wonder if the difference in bolt size will negatively effect my new long travel kit! hope not! like i said the instal went fine i had to tap that bolt in because it was snug but i didnt think much of it at the time.
