fosho, i can go into greater detail, let me know when you get ready to install. Pretty much everything the guys in the snorkel thread have been saying is true. The last bolt is a MF PITA to get in, you need perfect OB hands to get that nut on. An ratcheting, open ended 10mm would make life a lot easier, as would chopping about 3/4" off that highest bolt prior to install. removing the fender, however, would make that bolt a breeze. The bracket that gets in the way of the elbow needs to be cut, or else your shit will stick out like 1" off your fender and look like garbage. Fitting the elbows on is a pain in the dick.. but once again, if you remove the fender then no biggie.

And if you're having trouble removing the fender, just ask Blake to do it, he'll rip that shit right off for ya :):muscleflexing:

Hinge is gone. Going to add some 2" or 1-1/2" square tubing "goalposts" to the bumper after the camper is on. Fabricate a bolt- on bracket that will mount to the bumper so they can be removed if the camper needs to come off. A tire carrier will mount between the posts with bullet hinges or 2 double shear hinges. Not sure about the latches on the other side. I plan to use my old swingout for that. Then PC the whole thing. The posts will follow the rear 45° ish angle of the camper.

Something like this, but without the rear boxes.
    IMG_6004.PNG.jpg IMG_6005.PNG.jpg

And it won't popup this high. 25° like @Iggy's, which is plenty.

And it won't be that low over the cab.

And it won't have the angled nose, unless I can talk them into it Monday.

And it won't have the angled profile At the front of the camper.

I really need to update my drawing.

Ride height doesn't really matter- full droop does, and I flexed that thing a bit over those 2 years. Rears lines were always a problem, but my rear shocks were limit straps. Now the brake lines are super long with plenty of slack.

Full droop with shackle flip and shocks not fully extended.

    IMG_5655.jpg

The fronts didn't look necessary, because of the slack, until I turned my wheels at full crank. The stock lines were taught.

Truck goes to the camper shop on Monday. Maybe after it gets back, we can see if @Iggy and @tacomgee can help us...

Thanks for the info! I know a guy with perfect OB hands...

    Everything and the kitchen sink!

Yeah, @Iggy's is awesome. Something about a popup camper on 35's...

Buddy came over with front diff problems....the solution

    IMG_3873.jpg
And got my truck dialed in. Breather mod, diff fluid replaced, and shovel mounted. anyone want to explain how I fit almost 4 quarts of fluid into the rear diff with the truck on level ground? Kind of dumb founded on how everyone is getting away with 3 quarts
