I got rid of my 2016 SR5 today. Traded it for a 2016 Silverado. I tried my hardest to like the Tacoma, but after 27,000 miles in 9 months I finally admitted it was a piece of junk. The 4 cylinder's transmission was the worst I have ever seen. And the overall ride was like copiloting a 2 seat gocart. I normally keep my trucks for 200,000 plus miles, but I just couldn't do it with the Tacoma. So far I can say almost everything about the Silverado is better. The transmission is 1000 times better, the sound system is way better, it gets better mileage and is more roomy. I don't think it looks as good as the Tacoma and the insurance is a little higher, but I feel it was a good decision to trade.

I actually like the go kart feel, I hate the Cadillac feel of the full sizes.

I've had my 2017 SR5 for 2 months, 2000 miles and love it so far... Good luck with your new Silverado.. A friend of mine has one, it's a nice truck.. I just don't have a need for a full size truck.
