I am seeing all sorts of relays listed on Amazon and Ebay, but the wire gauges seem awful narrow for their intended purpose. I'm building a fuse panel to run an LED bar, ARB single compressor and a few TBD accessories off the bus. 25-30A passthroughs wouldn't be uncommon if I read the ARB chart properly.

The search function / google-fu didn't really give me the answers I was hoping for. Should I be looking at marine grade / similar relays or will the cheap amazon ones work fine? Pretty new at this and don't feel like frying something.

    example of relays in question:

Summit racing has the hella waterproof relays and bases. Best way to go IMO, and summit has good prices on them. Cheaper than Amazon but I can pick them up locally. Might look around and see where else you can buy them.

They're about 15$ for relay and base on summit but shipping might hurt. Amazon has em for about 22$ for both, shipped prime. I know thats a lot more than what you were looking at but they're quality relays and bases and they're waterproof. Wire em up with heatshrink connectors and you'll have a nice set up.

Much better than those cheap chinese relays.

Even if you skip the $$ waterproof relays I'd spend the coin on a better quality like a hella relay or tyco/bosch.

I havn't had issues with cheap relays. Just solder/crimp the proper size wire to it. The shorter the wire the thinner it can be to handle the same current, you'll just have slightly more voltage loss. None of these are going to be issues. The ARB should come with a wiring harness though, no?

I have brand new genuine Bosch relays if anyone is interested.
Not Bosch style or Bosch type.
    $12 each shipped
I have about 100 of these.
I can add a harness too for $2 more.
