I got a lot of speeding tickets in my old 4cyl S-10. Never got a speeding ticket in my 500+ hp 02 camaro z28...

Those of us that ride motorcycles have a saying. "It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow".

Yeah right, Toyota is increasing capacity at the Mexico plant to produce 160,000 Tacomas, that's 60,000 more than Texas and all they produce is double cab short beds.

    I like my 2016 2.7

Recently took a long trip from Kansas to FL and drove over 1300 miles. I hauled about 500lbs of belongs up and down steep grades with no problem. Runs smooth and got about 22mpg average with my 6speed down shift happy automatic trans. ECT button is a joy going up hill.

I came from the diesel scene. Had high hp high tq Cummins and Powerstrokes and this little truck is great!

I was exaggerating about 90/10 DC/AC split. I can tell you though that my local Toyota hasn't stocked any access cabs in atleast one whole month.

+1 for loving the 4-banger. It suits my needs perfectly, and I like the fact that it's different from all the V6 DCSB trucks you see out there. If rapid acceleration was that important to me I would've kept my WRX, but then I would have to gut my deer on the ground like some plebeian.
