    Driver didn't have a license, let alone insurance. Driver wasn't the renter of the truck. Renter of the truck didn't have insurance. OP is G2G, that Uhaul vendor is fucked.

    As mentioned above. OP, let your insurance handle the legalities and get it fixed at the location of your choice - or just take the check to buy some of the mods on your list, like a plate bumper (there'll be enough $ for it).

    Uhaul is paying out. They rented out the truck to an uninsured driver so they're gonna cover the damages to avoid all the legal stuff. :thumbsup:
