I installed this set up on my 08. Really improves the stopping power of my truck. I tend to carry a fair amount of extra weight in tools and equipment and this set up has made a big difference.

Good so far. I need to regear for sure. They are 33.25" in diameter when mounted. I measure across the center of the hub horizontally since that removes any issues with how much air they have in them or how heavy the truck is. Basically, it eliminates the "squish" factor.

Just installed about a month ago, after adjusting after the 500 mile break in period they feel great, wish i had gotten yellow stuff but 7000 greens are good for now. I am having a clicking from either the front or the rear, haven't really pinpointed it yet, more than likely the rear, also replaced pads and hardware for rear at the same time. If you are doing brake bleed, and you live in a humid or moist climate I would suggest sticking with dot 3 fluid, dot 4 as i understand is more for dry because it works best with no moisture from outside in the fluid. Dont do dot 5 unless you are fully flushing the system, dot3 and 4 dont mix with 5 and require flush. Now I havent dabbled with dot 5.1 but that's mainly for racing and maybe for big brake kits. Again dont quote me, I may be wrong.

I had EBC brakes on the front and rear of my Infiniti and I relly liked them. Cross drilled rotors and ceramic pads. I tow a boat and sometimes my brakes feel soft. Pedal travels pretty far down. I think when I change my tires I'm just going to change the front brakes, too, and go with the stage 3.

Thanks, they really are a nice looking rotor, the colors really dont matter to me, though yellow is a little tighter i hear, that's why i want them, but yellows create as much or more dust as oem, which again isn't a problem for me. For op, I would also suggest going only with slotted rotors or drilled, no both. Ive seen drilled and slotted combined rotors fail on a couple vehicles. And if you want slotted and drilled really dont do much for everyday vehicles like our tacos, maybe they expel a little more water when raining, but they really dont help cool anything. And another thing is, the clicking for me could he the pads brushing past the slots and clicking because something is uneven. It should wear off over time.

Very true. Slotted > cross drilled for everyday application. Both just looks cool, unless you're tracking your truck and replacing them often.

What's the appeal of the yellows vs the greens? I'm on EBC's website and it says, "Track day formula for fast street and occasional track day" for the green stuff.

Yellows ive heard grip alittle harder but they create more dust compared to greens, greens are the closest you'll get to OEM pads.
And unfortunately I really really wanted some red stuff ceramic's but they dont make them for tacomas
