OK so I have another thread going that explains my frame replacement situation.
In the process of doing that frame swap, I am going to have dealer install the suspension lift I have. Kit is a 2" rear / 3" front by Superior Suspensions.
Id also like to have shocks and struts to drop off with kit. Struts ~I'd like the ones that include the spring - and rear shocks would obviously need to be available in a 2" lift version. My thoughts were with the wealth of knowledge here somebody could point me in the right direction faster than me starting from scratch looking for a shock and supplier. Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions or recommendations.

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
What kind of lift is this superior suspension? If it's blocks, just let the dealer install the oem shocks with the lift, then replace the rear shock with a bilstein 5100, or a fox smooth body.

Yes it is blocks. So just leave the OEM on front - ? it wont matter ride wise with Bilstein on rear and stock on front ?

The longer shocks in the rear for the lift will be helpful, but fronts don't matter really with a block lift.

I wouldn't keep the block lift personally.

If you're going for a true 3" lift invest in a OME set up (not oem) lol...

The dealership will have it all apart anyway so for around 1000 you'll have a quality product and free labor.

I agree and was looking at the TOYTEC Boss suspension kit.

The Old Man Emu has new rear leaf though... ah decisions.

I hear ya the options will drive a guy nuts. I wouldn't use the factory taco leafs they're inherently weak even with the AAL.

Even the new ones that'll come with your frame swap are crummy. They'll be good for awhile then sack out.

There are a ton of posts on lifts here probably as much as frame rust threads!

20160330_183600~2.jpg I went the less traditional route with the Rancho Quick lift and General HD Springs.

I achieved around a 2" lift that I'm happy with for a total investment of ~ 800 bucks.

So am I to gather that the new frame will come with new leaf springs on it ? I didn't know that. Is that standard procedure for these swaps ?

You should ask them for a list of what exactly is being replaced, but yes, leafs should be, along with the rest of the suspension.

I literally just had a swap done and haven't picked it up after final adjustments to the cab.

    Yes new stock leafs.
    Along with:
Brake lines, brake proportioning valve, fuel lines, lower control arms, lower bushings, all new hardware bolts etc, fresh coolant, spring shackles, shackle bushings, sway bar blocks, sway bar end links, exhaust hangers, and a ton of little stuff.

I've attached an image of my service invoice but it really doesn't describe very well or show all the small items.

Be prepared to buy shocks and front coil overs. They should install for no labor cost seeing as it has to come off anyways.
