Weekends are so peaceful at my job. No real bosses around and since it's OT for me I don't even have to deal with patients. Just pop in the headphones and rock out while processing data. Can't wait to finally get a day off tomorrow! 10 days of 10-12 hr days is getting to me.

Found a bumper locally this week and installed it today. No winch tray, but it was a good price and well built. Someday I might have it modified to mount a winch or add a front receiver. Color match grill surround is probably next.

I bet you could also have a small hoop put on that like Pelfrey's

Yeah, I'm thinking the same. I love the look of their bumper.

Was that the one on Craigslist? If so, what a good find!

Yep, that's the one. Not sure of the brand or just a custom job, but fit well and looks pretty good.

Adding a receiver would be easiest. Then you can have the winch on hitch tray and just wire both ends of the truck and put the winch where you need it. Sliders and skids next

The front receiver idea came to me yesterday. Like you said I could wire both ends for a receiver mount winch and leave the winch at home when I'm just around town.

Sliders are supposed to ship from SOS next week along with an IFS skid. This bumper came with a short front skid bolted to the bumper (about as long as the thin factory "skid") that probably won't work with the SOS skid. The SOS one should go further back. I'll have to see if I can modify the one that came with the bumper or drill a couple holes in the SOS one.

Got the rear on with a little persuasion. Ended up removing the flares in the process. It may have fit with them on, but I probably would have damaged them in the process IMG_2101.jpg

I think I'll be heading to Bridgeport on Saturday. A couple of the other guys on here expressed some interest too. Discounted rate for the day to benefit the police.
