3" rough country, add a leaf, smittybilt light bar, Yakima racks and snowboard racks, k&n intake with short ram, helix throttle body spacer, 285/70r17 cooper discovery ST MAXX. 2" spacers . Drilled and slotted rotors. Anytime fog mod, map lights on with dome. Puddle lights. 2 spot and 2 flood 4" led pods. Blinker lights on with parking lights. Double din with touch screen. Husky floor liners. Cabelas seat covers. Hood rod delete with snubbers.
I've got an 05 tacoma trd sport ext cab. Currently it's sitting on rough country basic 3" spacer lift and 2" block in the back with add a leaf.(it has a slight rake to it) Looking for the best way to upgrade to a full suspension. Possibly just upgrading the front with up to 4" for now. Possibly the best bang for the buck. Any suggestions?!

This has been answered so many times on here..

But, are you 4x4? The only real way to get up to 4 inches is to use new spindles on the 2wd models. If your 4x4, everyone seems to run Bilstein's 5100 shocks on all four corners with a pair of new coils up front to gain 3 inches, and a new AAL or full leaf pack in the rear. You will most likely need new UCAs if your going this much in the front. That's probably the most lift you can get for your money, and it will be over $1000.

Access cab with child seat in the back, yellow wire mod, diff breather relocated to tail light, engine block heater, Leer topper with Yakima tracks and rack, Yakima rack on cab, Ride Rite air bags with Daystar cradles, CBI hidden front hitch, wired for winch front and rear Warn quick connect, Warn x8000i on external carrier, sway bar delete, trailer plug relocated to under bumper, Pelfreybilt IFS and Mid skids, BAMF Tcase skid, ECGS front diff bushing, ARB CKMA12 compressor, 255/85/16 Backcountry MT 3 load E tires on stock steel rims, Toyo M55 tires (same size) on another set of stock steelies, Up2NoGood heated mirror kit, Husky X-act Contour front floor liners, Northstar AGM 24F battery under the hood, Northstar 27F in the cab, Redarc 25 amp DC to DC charger, Pelfreybilt bolt on sliders with kickout and top plates, TRD Pro headlights, Depo smoked tail lights, Energy suspension body mount bushing kit, OME Dakar leaf packs with AAL, OME rear shocks, OME 90021 front shocks with 885 coils, SPC LR UCAs, Up2NoGood 2wd low range mod, 4 Wheel Campers Grandby slide in camper, 4xinnovations high clearance rear bumper, Uniclutch 800 lb/ft clutch
If the truck is a 4x4, 3" is the max for the front before the CV joints start to eat themselves. Even at 3", the boots often wear prematurely.

You'll get a million different responses on what lift you should install. Read as much as you can before making a choice. Look in the suspension threads, especially the lift guide. Your budget and intended uses will dictate what lift you should install.

There's so much information on this site it can make your head spin. That's part of what makes this place great.

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
He's new, sir there's a search feature in the top right corner, you'll find everything you need using that. I am running OME 885coils on bilstein 5100s, and a deaver AAL. I also have new upper control arms (uca). Check out headstrong off-road. Marie is awesome and runs a tight ship. @HeadStrong Off-Road she'll get you everything you need at good prices. The upgrade over spacers will be very noticeable. Good luck!

Trucks close to pay off so I'm looking to the start of a 4x4 truck beings it's not my DD anymore. I've looked into the pro comp 3" coils and pro comp 3" front shocks. I'll look into new UCAS for now and go from there. It's a rough ride on the spacers and of course no gained performance. I'll look into some threads. Just new to the site. Thanks for the input

Gotcha, since you are 4wd you have alot of choices that fit any price range. As has been mentioned, there is alot of info on this site you just need to search and digest it all to decide exactly what you want out of your truck.

I did a basic "level" kit with putting 5100s up front set at the 1.75 setting. Once my truck is closer to paid off I will be doing a full suspension as well.

    Good luck!

Pro Comp may not ride any nicer than what you have now. Go for Bilstein or better if at all possible.
