    Hi:
I have replaced the rear turn signal original bulbs with LED, an the back up lights with LED, I also bought the 1157 tail an brake light bulb, but when installed the bulb did not work, they were bought on line an I sent them back, but when i was installing the bulb the light would come on if I touched the sides of bulb with socket, I mean you can't install these bulbs backwards because of the off set intent on bulbs, has anyone else had this problem before I go back out an buy a new set of LED bulbs for taillights? I did fine when I changed the rear turn signal the flasher an bulb do flash much faster, THANKS for any help.

LED lights require a relay because of their low amperage. Also - don't mix LED and your standard bulbs on the same circuit. There is quite a few videos on Youtube on what you need to know. I had to use relays on my motorcyle to run LED blinkers because just putting in the bulb they would flash fast and then not work at all. Putting an in-line relay in cured that problem. I think it was called a relay..

Might have been a RESISTER (in parallel), to impedance-match the other lights on the same circuit.
