    Bilstein 5100s with old man emu coils and 2 inch body and 33s and cold air intake and throttle body spacer.
    What is everyone using for aftermarket catalytic converters?

    Do you have emission testing in NC? If not just straight pipe it! Or if you do get a bypass sensor and again, straight pipe it!

    Not going for a thread jack here, but came to post up almost the same exact question and saw this question. Basically same question, but looking for CARB compliance...

    Has anyone tried the magnaflow CARB / CA Compliant converters? It's looking like I also need to replace mine, but am selling in the not too distant future, and really can't see spending OEM converter type money on a truck that likely won't fetch me more than $5k at this point.

    And before I spring for two converters, is one or the other (front or rear converter) more likely to go out first or have a better chance of passing smog and clearing the dreaded P0420 code for good?

    I just bought a Magnaflow for one of my trucks. I haven't had a chance to install yet but keep in mind if you go this route AdvanceAuto Parts sells them and if you use code TRT41 you get $40 off every order of $100 dollars or more. Hands down best price I was able to find on Cats at this point.

    Hey BDM, please explain what I would need to do to run a straight. What is all involved in installing a bypass sensor? I don't want any lights flashing or anything on my dash.
