@tgormtx see above... but I guess I should check to make sure that is allowed first?

Thanks for the heads up on that Tom. Any chance of getting one on the end so that our group doesn't interrupt others?

Plan to be on the move at zero dark thirty Thursday morning.

Works for me! I will be there like 30 minutes after the gates open to set up and everything. Let me know about where you may want to set up. I am going to setup somewhere in the red rectangle like last year. The yellow is where some of them were setup as well and where a fire pit is.

For most people a portable CB with a magnetic antenna will do everything they need for off-roading

The price of the CB will be the least of your worries. The stack of receipts I have makes me think I should have invested in thermal paper.

As far as camping goes are there any restrictions on what we can bring? Can I bring my little camp trailer with RTT without worrying that I'll take up too much space?

There are so many spots in the back that won't be an issue. LAst year there was still plenty of spots to set up.

I was thinking more along where these two circles are - if they are still electric sites - so we are a little bit away from the main road to keep the dust in the camper down.

This is a good handheld radio for under forty bucks. If your budget can stretch a bit further I'd consider this one instead as it can be used as a portable hand held or you can power it off the truck and plug it into an antenna.

Dude, if I sat down and went through my receipts I'd probably freak out.

Pretty much going to be looking like this for the trip down unless I get my @RelentlessFab rear bumper soon.

Was kinda chuffed last year as you called my number for a Toytec suspension kit and I was hollering out that I've got the ticket and everyone else is screaming to burn it. Dude across the table from me - didn't know him - heard me call out and while looking me dead in the eye started shouting "burn it, fuck that guy." The grip that a friend of mine put on the back of his neck shut him down but it really was disheartening to try to claim stuff and have everyone who is butthurt because they didn't have the right number shouting over you to burn it.

Not going to tell you how to run it, just illuminating the terrain you find yourself deployed upon.

Bringing my wife and son - 7 year old - and we will have the Kamper setup to act as a base camp if she wants to chill out under the awning and relax. But the scenery really is beautiful and I think that she will want to go with you on a few trails. I intend to let my wife drive the Tacoma on some trails while we are there as she has only wheeled her bone stock Trail Premium 4Runner.
