I have a 2002 Tacoma Dbl Cab 3.4 l 4x4. I was driving home tonight and noticed that my right signal light looking from in the drivers seat was on but no flashing. I pulled over and tried the left signal and it worked fine. I then tried the right one again and nothing just that the light in the dash just stays on. I then turned off my headlights and tailights and the right signal light on dash turned off. So I tried to signal right and it works fine except that my dash lights flash as well. Weird I know I am thinking maybe a bad ground somewhere would be my guess. Just checking with the people on here who maybe have experienced this and maybe could steer me in the right direction of where to start to fix the issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Do you have trailer wiring?

Yes I do. I did not think of that. I will unhook it in the morning and see if that fixes it. I will let you know. Thanks

Unhook it, bet it cures it. Mine was sending feedback to my dash and climate lights and my running lights. Then my left blinker turned on like a fog light when I hit the brake, and later that night, it shorted, blew some fuses.

I don't know if it's the same, but my poor old 71 nova would pull that every time my rear blinker would stop working. Just another thought.

Thank you 98 ToyoTaco. Also everyone else who had suggestions. It was the trailer wiring harness. Unhooked it and everything works fine now. I guess I will have to find a new wiring harness before summer for camping. Again thank you very much.

You could Redo the connections into the adapter. It may salvage it. That's what a plan to do, I rarely tow, and removed the wiring altogether when I built my bumper, but when I fix my boat that will change
