    Hello everyone,

As stated in my previous post, i was conteplating either getting a 2017 tacoma or put some money into my current truck, which is a 2003 extracab V6.

So i finally decided to stick with my truck and upgrade some parts. I was looking at the bilstein 5100 shocks, but i am kinda confused. Some places say the rear needs a 1inch lift to work and some places say its ok for 0-3 inches of lift. So which is it?

All your feedback would be appreciated.

You can run them without lift (0-3")

If I had your truck, I would seriously consider buying new Bilstein shocks (the kind that came with your truck when it was new) for the front and the rear, and two new front springs. (Just don't buy them from a dealer.)
