It's just the worst lol I thought I'd have a few more weeks or so but I can't get an official hire until I officially show up on the nursing board website... which means no orientation at the hospital even though I passed the board exam and everything. Orientations fill up quick so I'm just gonna have to wait. I just hate how much time I'm wasting sitting on my ass all day. Been hitting the gym which has been nice tho lol

the gym is good! yea with mine, for some reason it took 2 whole pay periods before I was officially "in the system" and they would send me a paycheck. at least I was making the money, just not getting the checks yet. the only benefit I see is that if I quit, I get paychecks for two pay periods after my last day. gives me time to find something else.

Coming down to the wire. I'm still looking for a place to Shoot some Clay. Does anyone have some land? Member of a club? Looks like most ranges are Club run.

Ahh yes that does sound helpful. I guess in the working world they expect you to need to put in two weeks notices and get your stuff together but that ain't the case for me lol

my woman does uber and lyft. only during daylight hours though haha. her favorite spot is sitting at the airport and taking people back home. typically a longer drive than just across town. but during big drinking holidays, you can make an absolute killing!

watch out for people puking in the truck. that's the main reason she doesn't do it past 9pm.

Definitely true. I'm reading up on it online and evidently its just not worth it if you're driving a truck, that the profit margin is way too small

MPGs. Those people at the uber forums have everything down to a cost per mile and they just say it's not worth it and it makes sense to me. I'd have to drive a crap ton in order to make some decent money. I'd rather just drive somewhere to do some manual labor lol
