I have a 2013 Tacoma. I thought I wanted a 3 inch lift but now im thinking 6. What is an average price for either of those installed. Also what size tire would go best with them?? What is the difference between body lift and suspension lift. I do mild offroading. Nothing too serious.

Welcome to TW! There are lots of threads that do cover this subject, pretty extensively. Suspension lifts lift the entire truck, where the body lift just lifts the body up higher off the frame. Body lifts add no benefit except to fit larger tires.

In short, 6 inch drop bracket lifts require cutting out the front crossmember, so once you go with it you pretty much gotta live with it. 3 inch lifts is pretty much the max you'll wanna go without going with a drop bracket but even then many suggest sticking with 2.5 for the sake of the CV angles. Most guys on here will tell you to stay away from drop brackets and body lifts.

Sounds like 3 inch lift better suits your mild off roading needs, unless looks are what you're going for too. You can definitely find a ton of info if you search. Again, welcome to the forum!

    3" is the best bet.

6" uses cheap cut and weld crap to make the truck look bro for the sweet cougars (honeys) at the mall. Once done you really can't go back because you've modified your frame.

6'' lift is going to cost at least twice what a 3" suspension lift would cost. As stated above this requires welding and frame modification.
