A few months back a friend owed me some cash so I had him order the day star shackles for me. I really like the idea of poly bushings in the rear and to be able to grease them as well with a zerk fitting and rifle drilled bolts. I wasn't really looking for lift as I already did a 3" toytec lift prior to this point. I didn't measure it but I'm guessing it gave me .5 to .75 inch lift in the back. It came with a poly bushing to push the muffler pipe down a little but for my after market exhaust it was still a pretty tight fit.
Install wasn't too bad. It did help having my cousin to donate his time as an extra set of hands. I'd guess I had it done in a couple hours or so but I did clear my day as some of my other Taco' projects have drug out due to rusty fasteners etc.
The old shackles were super rusted and nasty and when I took the side of the oem shackle off it seemed to bend it a little. I'm glad I didn't have to reuse the old shackles. I didn't take any pics during but I found a couple after pics.
