Just bought my first Tacoma (2017 DCLB) a month ago . . . every time I look at it from the side, it always looks like the back end is lower than the front end, without any weight in the bed.

I know there are multiple posts about frt & rear lift kits, but can anyone point out any solutions/threads that deal with just lifting the rear a couple inches ?

Since the truck is brand new, I don't want to invalidate the Toyota warranty (an OE solution would be great, even if I have to pay the dealership), just want to lift the back end a bit.

Hopefully any solution won't affect my BSM (even though right side BSM does not seem to be working after one month).

    Any insight is appreciated !

Know what you mean. Have 17 Sport that looks an inch or so higher in the front.

Not really a lift system, but I just put some Firestone Ride Rite air bags in to help level me back off after putting on a topper and RTT, at the suggestion of another TW member. Everything else in the suspension stayed stock, but with the air bags I'm able to bring it back up to level after the suspension compressed. Wasn't very expensive to do either.

Do you need to know, or care?
Ya, rear is higher than front. If otherwise, take it back to dealer.

A block is the only inexpensive way to lift the rear without making it ride rougher. They can add 1" without issue.

Helper springs and air ride helper bags will stiffen the rear and are meant for helping with heavy loads or towing.

I put on Icon progressive AALs with 5100s in the rear... actually it made the suspension "feel" softer around town... loaded stiff and off road stiffest... and lifted / level.

I appreciate the replies . . . However, I am a bit confused from all the responses -

To ask again, is there a Toyota OE lift available (@ 2") for the just the back end of my brand new 3rd Gen Taco so it doesn't affect my Blind Spot Monitoring & Rear Cross Traffic Alert sensors (and my factory warranty ?) ?

Lol no Toyota doesnt offer lifts. Depending on how new your truck is you may just want to let the front springs settle a little. They normally come down a half inch or so after the first few hundred miles.

A rear lift will not affect your BSM. Well, it may affect its effectiveness since the BSM expects to be in a certain position/range, and you're changing that position with the lift, but it'll still work. I've got a nearly 4" lift in the rear and both BSM and cross-traffic functionality works fine.

OEM leaf springs are woefully inadequate. I'd throw in an AAL kit.

Are you just looking at the truck and it seems low by the eye? If it was my truck I would get on level ground and measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fenders. Then you will know if its actually leaning. If it is I agree to take it back to the dealer as something is wrong. You should have a 1/2"-1" factory rake.

I would suggest a plate bumper and see if the dealer will install the 2" rear lift!

    Problem solved. Bro

All great suggestions . . . after looking Amazon reviews/Q&A, not so sure I want to do the AALs.

jeffmansion - JOC, why "leave your truck alone" ? You must have some reasoning behind it . . .
