Anyone play Clash of Clans?

Just re downloaded it yesterday after being off the wagon for over a year. This damn gane is a disease!

We're doing ok, lots of members but still doing 10 person wars. We need more active people who aren't ridiculously rushed with their bases. The in game chat is like its own BS thread, it's pretty funny at times.

 

Lol. We're having the same prob. We war with 10 but lucky to have 7-8 ppl attack. It's rough getting a clan started. If something doesn't change soon I may be passing it onto someone else and coming back to tw

Any of you returning players notice the new bonus challenges? It seems to me that's SuperCell's way of getting more people to play by offering bonus incentives. I think it also gets players to try out different troops and strategies to use for attacks.

What are your bread and butter troop line ups? Mine are 12 Giants, 28 Wizards, 2 Healers, 2 Rage spells, 2 Heal spells, 1 Earthquake spell plus my clan castle filled with 1 Healer, 2 Wizards, 3 Archers and 1 Earthquake spell.

 

My go to attack is 2 golems, 21 bowlers, 3 healers, 6 WBs. For spells I go 4 quakes, 2 rage, 1 heal, and 1 poison. I generally only use CC troops during war. This is a badass and super powerful army, but it costs 5500 dark elixir!

 

What's your Town Hall level? I forgot to mention mine, my iOS account is TH9 and my Android account is TH8.

Having both of my accounts in the same clan enables me to donate CC troops to each account.

 

Mine is TH10... That would be nice to be able to donate to yourself haha. One of the guys in my clan with 2 accounts does that

 

I bought a cheap Android prepaid phone so I can play on the go without having to lug my tablet around. I would setup my iPhone as a hotspot and connect my LG prepaid to it. It is indeed nice to have that unfair advantage. When I started doing this I would donate two balloons to my Android account and that's all I'd need to 3-star a bunch of villages.

 

For looting (especially trying to get DE), I use a goblin knife: 10 giants, 5 wall breakers, and 160 goblins; 2 jump, rage, heal. I can get into almost any DE storage and get it all for very cheap.

War armies consist of a few different attacks tailored to the base I am hitting. Pentaloon is great, and govaho wrecks when air isn't a good choice.
