What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Same here. Been wanting one since i joined in 2014, been trying since then still to no avail.

 

How do you like the H/U? Any complaints? How was the installation?
I'm driving a 2010 and thinking about upgrading mine.

EDIT: I only ask because the reviews on Amazon are less than ideal.

 

its easier to do it all at once, when you already have everything pulled apart

 

could someone please tell me what headlights this guy has

 

They look like the stock headlights with the BHLM done to them.

 

This truck is very easy to dismantle compared to my dry rotted chevies

I would think in most states. I ordered a pair very similar. its just a housing exchange. should function almost the same as OEM. I should be putting mine on today if UPS is right

personal thoughts are you can't ever really go wrong with a little more black.

i always drive right through the blowers, they dont do that good of a job anyway, theres nothing making you wait so just go

 

The air isn't your area of main concern. It's the super harsh detergents they use that can FUBAR your finish and exasperate oxidation.

The sun itself is way worse on wiper blades but you just have to accept that probably once a year, you're going to need to change them from getting all dried out and useless.
Ultra violet rays: They cause cancer and can turn rubber into dust.

 

Speaking of drive-thru car washes. I went to one not that long ago and my anxiety was through the roof! It was the ones with that huge roller scrubber thing. When it was going from the rear of the vehicle to the front, I thought it was going to rip my mirrors off. When it came back from front to rear, it actually folded my mirror closed. Never again! I rather just wash it myself.
