    Update on this-so had to go through Toyota to order the part, part was $350 or so plus labor. Get the truck in this morning, turns out it was the wrong part and they had to do a little research, the window assembly does not come with the actual piece of glass that slides...that particular piece of glass (the one I actually need) is nationally back ordered an they have no time frame for when it might be available. Driving around in a 2 week old truck with a badass plastic/tape window. Good news is my tonneau cover is installed so I can lock things up. Closest I'll ever get to a rag top Taco I guess.

    North Carolina insurance law does not allow separate glass coverage, as they do in other states. The way around it is to lower your comp deductible to zero. Achieves the same thing, tho at a higher cost. Your agent should have offered that. I offered that to my clients all the time when they asked about glass coverage.
