    Looking good man. I was actually liking the rake. (Even though it was like 2.5" which Is a bit extreme) I'm still liking the looks of raked out tacos lately.

    Springs, shackles, and hangers. Everything else is the same. Kings are still sitting on the garage floor collecting dust till I have time and a slightly warmer weather. Doing the springs and shit yesterday in the rain sucked balls.

    Springs will settle also. Brand new leaf packs always sit ass up/face down. I have a trip to Death Valley for the extended weekend next week. Loading everything up should break the pack in well. I also planned ahead when I ordered my custom pack in terms of weight. I've got a new rear HC @RelentlessFab bumper on order which will hold not just the 35" on the swing out, but also two 3 gallon rotopax fuel cans and the two 2 gallon water cans on the bed rack to fill up. Should put me with just a little bit of rake without camp gear.

    I should have hopped on the custom leaf train. Just got sent a new pack from ARB. Obviously I would consider ARB entry level in terms of leaf springs. But I'm looking forward to it settling a bit. Did your custom leafs take into consideration the additional weight on driver side (i.e.: gas tank/gas tank skid)... sorry it's the OCD taking control

    I keep hearing great things about Alcan springs, don't hear about them quite as often as Deaver but when you do all seems to be good. Especially for custom packs.

    Jason, you're running a custom alcan pack right? Can't remember. First page still says dakers.

    Another dumb(ish) question: are new shackles a requirement to effectively use a custom leaf pack like you have? Or is it just a matter of stronger/better than OEM?

    My pack is based of the U402, just beefed up for more weight. The U402 is based off the J66, but beefed up. All three are intended to be used with factory parts or factory geometry.

    I'll let you know once I cycle it (when I do the shock hoops). For now I just needed it installed before my trip next weekend. Wasn't about to do another overland/expo trip with that shackle flip and rattle the fillings out of my teeth.

    What tire PSI were you running on the DV trip in December?
    You said for me to run the spring collar on the LT king shocks all the way to end and then compress the spring slightly...If I do that I'm still going to have 3" of lift?(I've got the 700# springs like you recommended)
