Ok here it is! I was in the market for a tonneau cover for my 2017 TRD OR Tacoma and found Diamondback Truck Covers. They produce the finest looking tonneau cover I've ever seen and the reviews are awesome, I had to have one.

The Diamondback Tonneau cover is a durable, all aluminum constructed cover with modular type panels that are capable of supporting a load up to 1600 pounds!

You can load your quads, side by side, wooden pallets etc. directly on top of the tonneau cover!

Please check out Diamondback Truck Covers website for the full details, specs, models, colors etc.

    https://www.diamondbackcovers.com/

Forum member @zachgara4 is associated through employment with Autocustoms which is the corporate name of Tonneaucoversworld. He was able to use his position to get the approval for this group buy.

I want to leave this group buy open until February 28th (hopefully we have enough participants to recieve the full discount by then). After February 28th all participating members will simply call @zachgara4 and provide payment and shipping info.

    Zachgara4's contact info:
Call me directly at 855-460-6801 ext 1289

    And here's the deal

Not trying to be a buzzkill here but for security the hinges and screws holding hinges are exposed. Take me all of 30 seconds and I'm in there....hopefully they installed tamper proof screws??

Not to be a doubter but have you actually attempted this on a Diamondback cover?

If not than you are making assumptions based off of pictures you've seen.

Soo no, your not going to drill the bolts out in 30 seconds.

Are you interested in signing up for this group buy?

    Well- damn.
I literally ordered a black HD from AutoAnything on Sunday.
I just initiated a chat and started haggling. I got it for 1775 delivered (with a 4 pack of extra cleats).
My calcs indicate that's 8%- so I think that's pretty good.

If there's strong interest here and the discounting gets deeper, I'll cancel and order on the GB.

... and lol at a dude running at my truck with drill to drill out the hinges. If he's willing to do that, your not gonna stop em.

I want to know how bad the truck handles with an ATV on the bed, i would love to be able to tow the boat and take the atv at the same time.

Jump to 10 minutes in. The ATV looks very stable on the truck. Diamondback markets the toneau as being able to handle a side by side so I'd imagine a quad is no sweat

Damn that's pricey. For the HD cover you could get a set of Kings and have them installed at a local shop. Good luck on gb

Lift, wheels, tires, floor liners, tonneau cover, and bed rug.
The screws are very hard to get out, even removing the cover you have to have the perfect angle otherwise you will not be able to release the hinge. Security is a big thing to consider when purchasing a tonneau cover. Unfortunately, people break into safes and banks on a routine basis. It doesn't matter if you buy a $250 cover or $3000 cover if you give someone enough time and they are determined they will eventually get in. The Diamondback is going to do a much better job than a soft cover for obvious reasons.

    Howdy,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Question: The LineX label is a little strange. The company website indicates they discontinued that line and replaced it with a different treatment called Rugged Black. Is the sale for older versions with the LineX or is it just a labeling error?

    See http://diamondbackcovers.com/linexcover.php

If it's the newer version, "Rugged Black", then I'm in.

Looks like the perfect tonneau for me.

The Line-x is just the term used to describe the product that is being applied. Diamondback does refer to this as Rugged Black because they no longer exclusively use the company "Line-X" to do their coating. These covers are all brand new and manufactured directly from Diamondback. If you select the black finish then you will be receiving the "rugged black" design.
