Just rolled 100k on my 09 so I'm working on getting the supplies for a proper coolant change together, but was wondering what other maintenance items should I look to do while all the coolant is out?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

If it were me i would do a new thermostat along with gasket, hoses are cheap so i would do those too. I tend to replace stuff before it goes though.

So do I, that's why I'd rather get it all done with the coolant out now. I was thinking Water Pump and gasket along with Thermostat and gasket. I'll look into the upper and lower radiator hoses too. I saw a thread about the water pump replacement and it noted the tensioner and pulleys, is this necessary?

i think water pump would be a good one to do as well. tensioner/pulleys is your call. i usually replace them but thats typically a belt driven motor and i do the belt at the same time (usually buy whole kit). the 4.0 is chain driven though. i probably would but weather its necessary is questionable. Like most parts, they may last another 100k or may go out in a week, who knows

    A thing or two...
I just rolled past 100k miles a month or two ago. I did the coolant, thermostat, gasket, thermostat housing, and upper and lower radiator hoses. I bought the two bypass hoses and a new serpentine belt, but didn't put them on. The bypass hoses were too much of a PITA to get to to worry about right now and the belt on the truck looks brand new still, so I'll just squirrel way the parts for when/if I ever need them.
