Isocoee is correct it is there problem if they drained and refilled the diff with the wrong fluid, they should have used a limited slip axle additive concentrate to the diff I have seen adding it after the fact to have corrected a chatter problem. I would not wait till monday for your appointment get ahold of the service manager and explain your concerns of futher damage to the diff after your service with them.

    UPDATE

took my truck in today... so they did say that the additive wasn't put in but they said im not gonna need a new clutch pack... i told them that im sure that there was rubbing with out it and they said its ok and that i dont need a new clutch pack... they changed the fluid and added the additive and said that the rubbing will still be there until i do some turns and let it work in....

since they wont issue new clutch pack are they just bull shitting with me and telling me i dont need a new one??

that sucks. The best thing for your blood pressure would be to just move on. I'm still dealing with my rim being scratched from the jackasses at the dealer. I doubt they'll do anything for us.

the mechanic said that its ok for it to slip....when i drove it to work after i picked it up i still feel the vibration and it was more... how long does it take for the fluid to mix into the clutch pack to start operating smoothly??

now if the vibration is still there for 3 weeks then that should be enough for them to replace the clutch pack... he said the LSD is under 60,000 mile warranty, so can he just be bull shitting me since i still have lots of miles till i get to 60,000??? i just wanna know if i got shitted on when in reality i really do need a new clutch pack

the clutch pack is one of those wear and tear items. I really doubt that they would replace it under warranty.
