Ohh I thought you want to glue it to the back, I was like: what the hell did he smoke :bananadead:

The cable actually stays in the channel without glue. The solar panel cable are to thick for the channel.......

They are sized big enough in order to chain several panels together. I only plan on running one and want to use thinner cable so I can run them through the channel.

Gotcha. They use this for that exact situation- if the cable is too big, just glue it "above" the channel basically.

Taco is undergoing some much needed upgrading. Expecting my Icon CO's Friday, then a lot of stuff from Camelback in the coming weeks.

Taco has a very beat up Tough Country 3" lift from before my time. Doing Icon extended Coil overs, and then new LBJs, inner and outer tie rods, LR UCAs. Then I'll deal with the rear, possibly a leaf rebuild with some Chevy 63's and icon shocks. Interior and regear after all that  you know, just some basic stuff.

Blocks and springs right now, ~2.5-3". Fuel Anzas with 285 70 17s Trail Graps, Tint, and paint protection film. The "lift" and wheels came on from dealer. One salesman tried telling me it had a custom full 3" suspension lift from a local shop . I said you can see the pucks up front and stock shocks... they wanted a tacked on $8k for the lift and tires. Ended up paying less than the value of wheels and tires for the "add ons". WIll swap it out for some coilovers eventually, but all the funds are going to the taco right now.

I love my Dakar leafs. They can handle a load (I know, thats what she said too) but they also flex very nicely.

Also, Ive heard the horror stories of them squeaking......But they must have started doing something different on the new packs because mine have been DEAD silent ever since I put them on. Would recommend

Soak that thing down with penetrant for a while, and you shouldn't have too many problems getting nuts n bolts out. Biggest problems are usually the leaf bolts seizing in the bushing and lower control arm bolts seizing in the bushing.
