Lugnut choices? ..What are yinz using?

I scored a set of 2017 TRD Off Road wheels for my 2017 SR Utilty and was wondering what lugnuts you all are using, gorillas, OEM , etc...etc...

From my searches, I believe the correct size is 12 mm x 1.50 , and I am also thinking that the steel wheel lugs on my SR are the same size, but they are chrome, I would prefer black.

What lugnuts are you guys using, and if you have some TRD Off Road wheels with black lugs or chrome lugs lets see them!

 

I replaced the stock lug nuts with aluminum nuts from the hardware store. Not sure yet what the mpg increase will be but it reduced total weight by over a pound.

 

Things holding your wheels in place are the kind of stuff that falls into the "if it works, don't screw with it" category.

OEM Toyota Alloys use lug centric style nuts with washers, I would strongly advise to only use oem lugs.

 

I'm using Rays lug nuts with my VolkTE37 TE37s

 

Also looking for toyota lugs for trd alloy wheels, Amazon etc tend to be really pricey.

+1. Make sure you use ET if you're running aftermarket wheels.

I went with aluminum. I get 32 MPG on the highway. Even better in the city.

Yeah, I am going from steel wheels on my SR, to Trd off road wheels, steel and alloy lugs dont mix, from what I have read, so I am looking for the right lugnuts in black.

 

Thats it? I am going to use hardened ABS plastic, I should get close to 40, maybe 44.
