I went out to the garage this morning. Before I got there, I could hear my compressor running, and a whoosh of air that sounded like it was coming straight out of the line. My 11 year old kid shoots pucks in the garage and the compressor is close to his net. It's protected by a creeper to keep pucks from hitting it directly. A puck must have dropped straight down and hit the pressure relief valve, which is really easy to pop open. If you've ever popped one open, you know how loud the whoosh sound is. He must have thought he did something really bad, because he didn't tell me about it. I can only imagine the look on his face.

I'm trying to figure out how to zing him with it. Maybe I'll tell him the compressor ran so long it started on fire.
