Looking forward to seeing the pics. Still going back and forth between Toytec with the 2.5 coil overs and Dakars in the back vs ICON's with their AAL.

Thanks, I'm pretty stoked about it. Can't wait to test it on the trails.

Hey guys, I am about to lift my truck and have been looking at the Toytec Boss lift for quite some time now and plan on purchasing TC UCAs and going with the AAL option for the lift. I am new to this so I apologize in advance for stupid questions...

I want to run Nitto Trail Grapplers in the 33" tire range and have considered the following:

    285 70 17
    285 75 17
    295 70 17

They would be on 17" SCS Ray 10s with -10mm offset.

    Questions:
1.Would I be able to run any of the aforementioned tire sizes? (Really don't want to trim unless necessary)
    2. With the boss lift, it seems the front of the truck is still slightly lower than the back (I am looking for an even stance) is this true, or are the pictures playing tricks on me?
    3. I am considering a 1" body for additional clearance. Thoughts?

I am also considering the icon stage 1 or an OME lift...I just want a total 3" of lift

All Pictures, thoughts, comments are appreciated!

Stopped by Toytec today and picked up their Boss 2.5 kit. Somewhat of an impulse buy. The last or second to last kit in silver coils. Pumped to get it put on, also added SPC UCAs and the carrier bearing drop kit.

I'll work on getting some good before and after. And measure the fenders. My install date is currently March 6th.

What's the consensus about needing UCAs? I'd like the extra 2" up front.

If you are wanting to get that full 3" (1" factory plus 2" lift) then you are going to want to run the UCA'S to insure correct alignment.

Just joined and I'm have a '16 TRD sport and thinking of ordering 2.5 boss coilovers, AAL, 2.5 rear shocks, and light racing UCAs. I would say 75% on the road and going up to the pass or mountains for hikes. No hard core off roading. Will I need a CMC if I run 33" nitto trail grapplers? what is this vibration ppl keep talking about or is it a the bearings? Also, the famous taco lean, how is this avoided? take a leaf out of the leaf pack?

I really hope this kit will level it out. Some pics it's higher in the back and some look even.

I just picked mine up from Toytec last week. Not sure about the tires size, but the carrier bearing drop kit is for the vibration, and I believe the taco lean should go away with this kit. Otherwise they make spacers to fix the lean. That's my understanding, if I'm wrong someone else will chime in. I'm waiting for the install, hopefully soon. You going to run UCAs?

Im running the spc light racing UCAs since the lift is 2". Anything 2+ should include UCAs so ive read and opted against the TC uca. thanks for the name of the kit and I have a tint guy too. appreciate the offer though

I'll post some before and after pics soon

Hmm I wonder if toyec can ship these to an APO address.. I would have to go AAl instead of a full dakar.. otherwise I would never make the weight requirements.
