Really liked the trd cat backs I ran on my 09&14 and want to add one on my 17. But here in Canada the trd pro exhaust =$1200

I can get a 2nd gen trd cat back for $515. They both look the same. Hangers line up but the 05-15 system requires a easy trim and re-weld the flange as it's a bit longer.

    Thoughts ?

2017 is expensive and 2015 requires work, at least that's what I think.

Yeah chopping the length down some upstream of the muffler and welding on the flange again. Just wondering if the exhaust would have changed much as one was made for 4.0L and 3.5L

I heard 2nd gen trd catback works, however there is drone when installed on 3rd gen.

Around a year ago there was a thread from someone who adapted a 2nd gen TRD cat back for a 3rd gen truck. It seemed pretty simple. I just tried searching for it but could not find it.
