What did I do? I bought a truck! See my post from the cement thread.

    IMG_0191.jpg

I can't even believe I'm about to say this, but I am finally the newest owner of a TRD-PRO Cement! I have been drooling over the third gen body style since it was debuted. I had previously owned a 13' before buying a CC and have been itching to get back into a Tacoma ever since. Once the 17' Pro's were announced I have been hooked, especially on the cement. I don't have as much time these days as I used so the Pro made sense to me. This website has been like a drug and I know my wife will appreciate less truck "talk" with there being a little less upgrades in the future. Not great pictures but I did what I could for picking it up this evening. More to come!

Getting either KO2 or Duratracs put on tomorrow....still can't decide!!

Additions being added Monday at the dealership:
    -Door handle protection
-All weather floor mats, free from dealer
    -OEM Mudguards
    -OEM Roof-rack

    Additions already purchased
    -LED Low Beams
    -Console organizers
    -Interior LED replacement bulbs
-Black/Chrome "T" trailer hitch. Go Vols!

    Near Future additions:
    -Tonneau Cover
-Step bars or sliders of some sort
    -Cargo divider

Who could help me get some decals made? I know I've seen a few people on here who can make these bedside decals. I want to get this made for my Pro.

I'm in a union called the millwrights. One of the ways of having pride being an American is buying stuff that is the USA made. Recycling your American dollars in the USA and supporting hard working Americans building your car. That's all. Didn't know that Toyota open a plant in Mexico to have certain Tacomas made there.

What did I do? Nothing physical, just lightened my wallet...Decided to use the rest of the $$$ on the taco before it goes on something else and taco will be ignored, so, after work I stopped by SDHQ (super friendly and cool place) and in an act of sudden violence have thrown money at them. In response they threw the following parts at me:
    - 1 set of Icon 56503 2005 - UP Toyota Tacoma (0-3" Lift) 2.0 Aluminum Series Rear Shock
    - 1 set of Icon 58635 2005 - Current Tacoma Extended Travel Front Coilover Shock Kit - 700#
    - 1 set of Camburg 310103 Toyota Tacoma Pre/4wd 05-16 KINETIK Series Billet Upper Arms
After the dust settles from the store brawl, I will get a complete set of leaf springs and be done with the lift/upgrades. When my tires will go bold, I will replace them with something in the likes of 275/60/20 rims and tires.

    Actually I do.
    Wife calls me King Dong.
Sorry yours isn't.....there are doctors in America that can help you....
And I guess I shouldn't have put TRD 17" wheels on there either.
And I guess I shouldn't have put that TRD Pro grille on there either.
And guess I shouldn't have put that NRA sticker on there since it was built in Mex.
You have a TRD Pro and I hurt your feelings?
I'll call you next time for approval....no doubt.
    Gotta go....it's banana night.:bananadance:

I have a hypertech speedo calibration kit sitting on my desk, lol. I'll be installing it once I get off this shift tomorrow morning. I can make a video if anyone is interested.

Those are nice for the price.
Looks like a little of a hassle to retract back...like a bi-fold door....you have to encourage it some.
And then the whole grabbing the strap to extend back out.
The one I have is just one handed operation, to retract or extend, plus you can stop it anywhere in the track.
Regardless....the Peragon is a decent, cost wise cheaper, really nice looking alternative no doubt.

I thought my truck was being built at the San Antonio TX plant.
Found out it was built in Tijuana, Mex.

If I'm understanding you correctly, I used a speed calibration calculator to get a ball park. Typacally about a +4mph differential (65mph on the speedometer is actually around 69mph) See link.
