So I actually bought these (not Depo but close) last year but haven't put them in because they came with a paper that basically said "they gonna leak and fog put some silicone on lolz" and just never got around to it. My stock lenses are pretty bad at this point though, so I think it's time I get around to it.

Did anyone have any luck opening them up and sealing them that way, rather than just putting silicone on the outside? Almost like you were going to do a retrofit and opening them up but just closing them back up with better sealant?

Those were discussed in another HID thread. I considered them for a moment then decided to go full retro since i found a set of lights for $100.
They are halogen projectors, not nearly as good as a retro but i suppose its an easier starting point for a retro since everything is blacked out already and a more budget minded option if you want to run hid's vs blinding people in stock housings with HID.

Need some projector ones, I feel like a d-bag having HID's in the factory lights. But can't give up the extra brightness, even though it pisses everyone off.

That's a good idea. Adjusting them is much cheaper than new headlights lol.

Sounds like yours have been that way a while, visibility still pretty good?

I'm starting to dig these more and more. If I were to get these what sort of projectors should I get? I saw the morimotos, I wonder if these would work. I don't want to blind anyone.

Wondering the same thing. My grill was supposed to be here today and I was gonna install both this weekend but weather delays put it back till Monday. So now I have to settle with just prepin the headlights :(

Just get some from Home Depot or Lowes. They have a ton of options to choose from when it comes to silicone.
