The dog screen is a option when buying a cap, so check with your local cap dealer if it can be purchased separately.

Ordered them on the topper when I ordered the topper. Go to the dealer, they can order them for you or by my topper! :)

Has anyone been able to get their caps completely waterproofed? The bed rails and joints done make this an easy install--or final product that is completely squared away.

Are does not install the flip down front slider with the hd frame. Other than the power washer, I just get to the glass through the truck slider. I only can really get to the center glass by hand. But it stays clean for a long time. I will end up unclamping and sliding it back to clean the outside glass real good. You could use a sponge on a stick rig up to get in there.

Mine is a fold down model. And it is really easy to get to for cleaning. You just need to request it when you order the top. On other trucks that don't have a fold down--I have used the windex sheets on a Swiffer pad...followed by a dry pad covered in coffee filters to prevent the lint from being on the window....

Jason Cap. $1350 installed with carpet and sliding front window. I was suppose to have dog screens but I guess that was too much to ask for.

Hi All, new in here and I'm still waiting for the delivery on my PRO. Can anyone tell me how much usually cost for the Camper shell? I have the A.R.E V Series on top of my list. Any member from NorCal know where to get the shell and how long usually to wait from order? Please share you thoughts. Thanks

Not a great picture, I can get a better one later, but this is a Century Ultra Sport.

From my experience and what I got from others, V Series is about $2000 - 2200 with options.

Wish you were closer! I have a V Series topper I am trying to sell, you could have it painted, I would make you a good deal!

When researching mine (in NC) I was quoted a little over $3k installed for the ARE V-Series, about $2.8k for the Leer 100XR and $1.9k for the the Century Ultra-Sport.

They were all appointed more or less the same: folding front slider, sliding side windows with pet screens, electronic lock tied to factory key fob, carpeted headliner, LED light, and roof rack.

I ultimately decided on the Ultra Sport as it was significantly less and made by same company as Leer. In fact, when I removed the Century badges from the side the indent for the Leer badge was underneath.

I have only had the cap for a couple of weeks, but I have been happy thus far.

    Hope this helps.

Leer 100RCC. Supposed to have a 400lb dynamic rating for the RTT that's on it now. Came standard with petscreens and carpeted headliner, Thule tracks were an add-on (~$200?) (Also had a Thule rack but I replaced with Alu-Cab's). $2300.
