Ones I'm looking at are old emu. And the other one is DEAVER leaf Springs. Which one would you go with and why. Thank you.

    What year?

    I'm assuming 2000's.

Deaver has a full leaf pack for a 1998 to 2004 and 2005 and up!

How do you use your truck? Do you have any added weight in the rear?

These questions will determine what kind of leaf springs to get.

You didn't answer what year your Tacoma is but by looking at your name, 2008?

Well, Deaver has the J66 springs that will get the job done and they also have a 3 leaf mini pack that replaces your overload springs.

The mini pack is a great option and improvement over stock if you don't want to shell out the $$ for a full leaf pack.

A lot of guys also love OME Dakar leaf springs as well.

I can get you taken care of with the Deavers though!

    Let me know!

    Thanks

    JT

I've got the Deaver J66 pack and I'm pretty impressed with the ride. I don't haul or tow or have a camper or any extra weight since the J66 pack isn't designed for that and some people don't know how to read.

I feel like the rear rides better than my front now which is a pleasant surprise.

Just don't get a leaf that will ride like a roller skate if you don't carry weight.

if you plan on adding or putting weight in the bed then go with the Dakars. if you don't use the bed and just want a softer ride like for desert racing/playing then go with deaver. dakars are pocket friendly and deavers can be a bit pricey. all depends on what you use your truck for
